About this blog

I created this blog as a way to consolidate my learning and deepen my understanding of the topics I work on. Writing is a powerful tool for rigorous thinking: it forces precision, exposes gaps in understanding, and helps transform intuition into structured knowledge. This blog is, therefore, an ongoing exercise in organizing my thoughts and developing a deeper understanding of subjects I am interested in. In many ways, it functions as a personal research notebook shared publicly in the hope that it may also be useful to others.

My writing will focus primarily on artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on theoretical and conceptual aspects of deep learning, as well as related topics in mathematics and physics.

About me

I am a technical lead in the Deep Learning team at Nintendo European Research & Development (NERD), where I have been working full-time since 2020. Before that, I began a Ph.D. at CEA List in 2018, focusing on unsupervised control of generative models. After joining NERD, I continued working on my Ph.D. during my personal time and defended it in 2023.

Through both my professional and personal projects, I have gained experience in deep learning, especially in generative models. I have also designed and presented several technical workshops on theoretical deep learning topics at NERD.

More broadly, I am interested in artificial intelligence, mathematics, and physics, with a motivation to understand stuff from first principles. I also enjoy web development from time to time.
